Cycle path needed from the end of Glencruitten Road to the station and on to the Corran Halls so families cycling the Caledonia Way are protected from the traffic in the town centre. Better for tourism.

There should be a two way cycle path along the Esplanade so families cycling can avoid the A85 between the station and the Corran Halls (for the quieter road along the coast)

There should be a two way cycle path along the Esplanade as a tourist attraction and to enable families on bike to avoid the A85 between the station/ferry terminal and the Corran Halls.

Pavements are too narrow for anyone to safely keep 2m social distance. Solution: Remove the parked cars on Sinclair Street, Princes Street and Clyde Street and use the space to widen the pavements. Keep the disabled parking spaces and ... [more]

The Loch Lomond Cycle Path is totally inadequate as the main route from the Glasgow/central belt area to the highlands. A route needed by many cycle tourers, LEJOG riders, leisure & sports cyclists. Cycle traffic should be encouraged away f ... [more]

Complete the off road route from Connel to Dunbeg alongside the A85 so long way round route via the back lanes can be avoided. Would bring money into Dunbeg at the shop.

Finish the off road cycle route from Dunbeg to the Connel Bridge to save the detour via the back roads. Tourism boost for the shops in Dunbeg.

The pavement is too narrow to walk and queue to get into shops and keep 2 meters. I found myself waiting and stepping into the road.

The cyclepath on side of Loch Lomond is a great route but really badly signposted and some bits are badly overgrown and really need some improvements and work on them. Also a few sections don't have any seperation from the really busy and ... [more]

Please build a cyclepath from Tobermory to Craignure. The road is mostly single track as is far too busy to walk or cycle on it, especially in the summer.

Please build a cyclepath from Bridgend to Bowmore. The path will let people walk or cycle safely to the town and to Ionad Chaluim Chille Ile (Columba Centre), without having to be on the busy, fast road.

Please build a cyclepath from Ballygrant to Bridgend and on to Bowmore. There is a short path between Bridgend/Islay House Car Park to Newton of Kilmeny which could be used as part of the longer path.

About half a mile of new path would provide a link from the existing path into Port Askaig, so you could walk all way from Port Askaig to Ballygrant.

There is already a rough path alongside the road between Ballygrant and Keils and Keils to the road to Bunnahabhain (at top of hill behind Port Askaig). The path could be improved to make a great cyclepath.

The new path from Bruichladdich to Port Charlotte sounds like it'll be great once built, but please continue the good work by continuing the route on to Bridgend, Bowmore, Port Askaig and Port Ellen.

Islay is a great island, but roads are way too busy with HGVs and, in summer, tourists, to cycle or even walk on roads. The three distilleries path at Port Ellen is great, but please build more routes linking up the towns on Islay. Port E ... [more]

Road from Fionnphort to Craignure is a single track road with no footway which is very, very busy in the summer with tourists. Great route to cycle but far too busy on road. Please build a cyclepath from Fionnphort to Craignure ferry term ... [more]

Total resurface of this (busy cycle commuting) on road section between the cycle paths. Its like the surface of the moon at present!

Establish proper cycle path between Dumbarton and Helensburgh. This would boost tourism in both towns.

I've made this point to both one of the apparently interested (and clearly cycling councillors) for this area but received nothing other than a bland assurance that plans 'are afoot' for development in due course. In fact the plans, now out ... [more]
