  • Icon 165084 As Castle Rd is outside the proposed area is it going to be a rat run in the making.
  • Icon 165083 Prevent access to cars for anyone other than residents and turn it instead into a section of cycle path to be created along with certain other connecting roads and paths throughout St Albans to give the town cycling options for cleaner air and healthier living
  • Icon 165082 20MPH traffic speed limit signs have made no difference. Cars regularly speed through Castle Rd using it as a cut-through
  • Icon 165081 Castle Road is a rat run from Ashley Road to Hatfield Road, making it unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. This would be solved by closing one end of the road to traffic or making it a one-way road. Now that Jewsons is closed, regular access for large vehicles is no longer needed, making this viable.
  • Icon 165047 Arnold Street like all the others in the top triangle used as a rat run. How about changing the road surface of these so it's more like a large pavement but traffic allowed such as the road outside the theatre in Brighton.
